I have a tendon problem in my hand, I'm not going to type much... I figure you need goon/goalies more than a Center stuck on your bench playing for Phoenix hehe... This will let you lock up the Devils/Atlanta better while adding Hollweg who can log in the 70+ game range... Most your Enforcers are not really that type, they are injury prone, threats to be sent to the minors, among other issues hehe... My 2nd rounder in 2009 is likely to be the 11-14th pick...
Kings will trade...
E-Ryan Hollweg (Tor), G-Frazee (Devils), G-Dan Turple and Their 2009 2nd Round Draft Pick
For
Avalanche
C-Jokinen (Phoenix) and their 3rd Round 2008 (29th Overall) Pick
Ryan Hollweg had 13 fights the year the NHL really cracked down on them with 131 PMs... His role on the Rangers was cut down since Avery was there and Colton Orr... For the Maple Leafs he should be good for around those same numbers... He has played 70 or more games the last 2 years, he seems able to play in the "new NHL" at least... He is pretty young, could be on your team for years, but lacks the point production of Mayers...
Turple after Atlanta drafted him had 7 Shut Outs, 40 Wins, 2.25 GAA, and a .924 Save Percentage in the OHL... He is only 23 years old, has a fair amount of upside, I figure he can at least crack the NHL as a backup for the Thrashers... Better to get him now in a trade while his value isn't that high... Look at past goalies I bid on or owned, they cost a 1st rounder, Toskala, Huet, the latter a guy I bid on when he was on the Manchester Monarchs in the AHL ...
You know Atlanta goalies are injury prone, he could see NHL time this year... You drafted Ondrej in the 2nd round, I could have taken him, I let you have him... I'm willing to give you a free ride with Atlanta if you do this trade... I wont be going out of my way to get their goalies, otherwise I'll just pick off all your organizations... I already got the Senators young goalies in Elliot and Glass... I've also taken out anybody that gets in their way who I can't obtain like Emery who I shipped to Russia hahaha... I suggest you move Gerber if you can, he wont be around much longer ... Since you replied to my trade offer, I'm willing to get a deal done... You won in every trade we ever made, remember the Ehrhoff one hehe... You can easily sign anybody you would have drafted at 29...
Frazee is the expected starter after Brodeur is gone, people can write all they want negative about him... I'm giving you a chance to get him, otherwise it will haunt or taunt you perhaps hehe...
Jokinen is coming from a team that scored 216 Goals to a team who scored even less while letting up more hehe... 27 Goals left Phoenix with my man Vrbata which don't bode well for their goal total this year heh... Jokinen is coming off a 20 point drop, he will be 30 years old, ironic enough his point total was the same as Jagr who left for Russia hehe... At least on Florida Horton was only 9 points behind in points with 62... While Phoenix was led by Doan's 78 points with the next closest Vrbata who left with 56... I hate Phoenix but Jokinen is a former King, he was in the Palffy trade too... You can hold on to Olli till he leaves you for Russia like you did Jagr and other players if you want...
I'll keep this trade open until September 24th at 7:27 PM... I might still do the deal after that but I'm not obligated to...
