Sabres trade their 2nd round pick (12th overall) to the Devils for G-Pascal Leclaire, D-Christian Ehrhoff, and W-J.P. Dumont.
[glow=red,2,300]The Sabres maximised their 12th overall by adding some serious depth. All players the Sabres have received are yet to see their full potential and will all be potential starters for the expansion team. The Devils have secured another pick but have lost two many key players in this deal to make it worth it.

Kings Trade Their 2nd Round Pick Next Year to Devils For C-Nik Antropov, C-Marcel Goc, and W-Ruslan Fedotenko...
[glow=red,2,300]Don't look now but the Kings have stepped up and have created a team that is a legit contender in the west.. The Devils picked up a valuable pick whiich could wind up being around the 13th or 14th overall next year.. Great trade for both teams [/glow]

Kings Trade 8th Overall Pick to Devils For E-Avery, G-Josh Harding, W-Vrbata, D-Vishnevski, and 27th Overall Pick...
[glow=red,2,300]Wow this was a very one-sided deal.. The Devils better pick the next Lemieux with that 8th pick or they will regret this one.. Harding should be a starter in this league for years to come..

Blackhawks trade G-Cory Schneider, D-Ed Jovanovski, D-Carlo Colaiacovo, C-Tuomo Ruutu to Oilers for D-Jani Pitkanen
[glow=red,2,300]If the Hawks were not one of the most respected teams in the league as commissioner I don't think I could look at myself in the mirror and allow this trade to go through.. Ruutu will come back and haunt the Hawks if he remains healthy.. Oilers fleece Hawks[/glow]

Blackhawks trade W- Eric Staal Carolina Hurricane, Enforcer Donald Brashear, Enforcer Todd Fedoruk Anaheim Mighty Ducks to Avalanche For W-Bobby Ryan Anaheim Mighty Ducks, G-Christobal Huet Montreal Canadians, G-Yann Danis Montreal Canadians, G-Carey Price Montreal Canadiens, and G- Ilja Bryzgalov Anaheim Mighty Ducks...
[glow=red,2,300]Trading Staal is never a good move but the Blackhawks ran the risk of Staal being challenged at this years draft (changing him to center) With Thornton, Malkin, Spezza manning the center position it makes sense to land goalies especially from two of the the premier teams in the NHL. If Bobby Ryan becomes a star then this trade will look a lot better for the Hawks.. The Avalanche addressed their enforcer woes and are ready for their road to the Cup..
