A lineup consists of 3 centers, 6 wingers, 6 defensemen, 3 enforcers, 2or3 goalies.
The 3rd center is a backup. The 5th and 6th wingers are backups. The 5th and 6th defensemen are backups. The 3rd enforcer is a backup. The 2nd and 3rd goalies are backups. Backups stats count only if your starters are scratched from the league games lineup.
How a tie game will be decided for a victory..It will go down to a shootout..Basically each team picks before their game 3 players that they think will add to the most amount of total accumulative score. Which ever team has a higher production will be the winner of the shootout. Mark a next to the players you want as your shootout players in your lineup. If the 3 players add up to exactly the same as the other teams.. the tie will then be decided by the team with the best goalie for the night playoff method. Please note* If a shootout player does not play then his backup will count as that nights shootout player.
How do I know which games are league games?
Basically there are 30 NHL teams in the league... If all thirty teams played on Saturday then all league games would count for saturday. Since not all teams play on saturday then we go to Sundays games for the teams that don't play on Saturday. Sometimes a team will not play on either Saturday or Sunday in which we take the Stats for Fridays game..and proceed in a backwards fashion...then Thursdays games etc. Most of the time all thirty teams will play on Fri. Sat. or Sun...
For a listing of which games count for that week go to the "Fantasy NHL Schedule" section on the website.

If you have put your lines in and want to make a legal late change to your lineup either private message me the change and I will edit your lines for you. You can also modify your original lines but make sure your change is a legal one, make sure you leave a response in the resaon for editing section of the post underneath the message. If you are unsure if you are able to make a certain late change then private messaging the Maven your change would be best.
